Ever since I left the Albany Ladder Company my career and life have excelled. I believe this is in large part a credit to the inspiration that Lester J. Heath, III - then president of Albany Ladder - gave me to create extraordinary learning environments with any organization that I chose to confer with. I pay tribute to the memory of Lester and the fine people that worked with us at Albany Ladder in those Camelot years! It is hard to imagine that 4 years has passed since Lester died on October 23, 1997.
I was always allowed a very unique employment arrangement at Albany Ladder. Using the mission statement as a guide Les encouraged me to use the creative living organizational model of Albany Ladder to share with other firms parts of our own organizational development.

our lives, community and world, helping turn dreams into reality! |
In exchange for the sometimes proprietary information that I would share with other businesses, Les would have me make contributions to charities or two foundations that he was instrumental in founding. These included the Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation & Education and the Visions for a Better World Foundation. I was often able to provide in kind facilitation services for these and other organizations sharing the skills that I developed at Albany Ladder.
